Oils like that and other sun rendered oils are fine in my experience to hold them in plastic. Far less dangerous to accidental breakage. I have had some oils of that nature for 40 plus years without breakdown or compromise of any kind.

Starting to become a believer.
I have set a total of 6 traps in 2 locations, and used a couple different lures. In 5 days I have caught 2 fox, one at each location, and both on the tail oil.

John is correct but I add it all bones and a very tiny amount of hair. I'll burp my jars until it starts producing oil, then I just leave them loosely screwed on. Like maybe half a thread. Flys here wont try and mess with it after it forms a layer of oil.. It is still gassing very slowly. I've lost a few bottles of pure oil because I filled them to full and sealed them up tight!

Good work FriarTuck.

Maybe I missed it, but I wonder if BTO works for bobcats.
