There is something catching the trout in the ponds at fish hatchery. It's just eating the heads of small fish. Is that mink and if so how would a person catch them? There is the creek about 40 to 50 yards away.

There big nests over top of hatchery to keep birds out. I thought otter would eat everything.

Find the trail and the hole in the fence and blind set it. I had the same situation at a trout rearing pond , trapped 7 mink in a week. all big bucks from 1 bodygrip and 1 pawhold set in the trail from the outflow stream to the pond.

Common sense catches alot of fur..

I check my 160s Sunday. I had ground hogs and oppsums. Only had 5 160s out. The lake is turning over. The trout r jumping out of the tanks. Dead trout on ground. I know there are alot of mink. I never caught one there. Never set for them. Some otter too. I have snared them. Only trails go under the fence. I set a 160 in them. I am going to have to get the #11 out. Mink lure too. If there is dead fish on ground then do I set blind sets?
