Hey Guys, anyone ever taken the time to measure the height of the snare when setting for hares? I've snared plenty of hares before, but I've never specifically targeted them. I've always caught them incidentally in my fox and lynx snares by accident. But my wife wanted to try trapping some hares around my cabin this year so I bought her a few rabbit snares. But I've never really taken the time to actually measure the height of the snare off the ground. Anybody got any tips?

4-5 inch loop 4 inches above packed trail.

The only constant in trapping is change so keep learning.
