2nd photo at right side about 2 inches in, halfway down where the tapered beach hits high bank is where I would set.

I would dig a DEEP pocket on the steep bank and bait it with a large chunk of fish or a quarter of a muskrat.

Bed your trap well. If you catch a Coon redig the pocket and reset it,
