Which base plates do I need to get for #3 dogless wolf creek traps? Also anything special I need to do before welding them on?

can ya measure the frame and look in the Sterling Fur catalog which one will fit?

Surely you have that catalog on your desk, with bout 8 other suppliers?...….to make shopping super easy!

I looked online and couldnt even find base plates on their sight and so far the ones I have found do not list a length just trap sizes and none have been #3 wolf creek or #3 northwoods

Check FNT Post orJC Connors.They have dimensions.Sterling Fur also has them,with dimensions.Click on Accessories,then Base plates.

Never trust any website is lesson 1. Stuff isn’t set up user friendly many times.

Sounds like yer on track. It is wiser , I’ve found ,to call folks and speak directly to them.

Will do! Now welding wont affect the springs at all or should I pull them off?

#3 wolf creek traps are modeled after the #3 Northwoods trap frame wise. If you were looking at baseplate kits you can find the ones for #3 Northwoods and they should fit pretty good. Also "Ohio" screenname here is the owner of Wolf Creek. If you ever need anything he responds pretty quickly to questions. Keep in mind though it is trapping season and per pics i get on facebook he is trapping too.
