Since they're no longer made has anyone bought some for an investment?
I've used Sleepies for awhile. Some I've liked, others not so much.
Just put in a order to a few trapping supply companies.
At 1 place #11 DLS were sold out.
Another #2 DLS were sold out.
I got 3 1/2 dozen of different size DLS, plus 2 dozen of different size coil springs.
I'm hoping that in a few years the prices for new in the box Sleepies will go up.
I'm calling it the stock market of traps.
WISH I HAD MORE TIME TO TRAP!

I picked up a few before they went out, hated to see them go. I got a Red special, a #4 and something else. You can never go wrong investing in traps lol!
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Does Murray's in WV still have them in stock? Thats where I got some. The #1 DLS is sold out. You would have to look on the website.

Probably a good investment would be to take Sleepy Creek traps that are new in the box, keep the box factory sealed. Put in a place where it won’t get wet or damaged and leave it for 50 years. A great investment for your grandkids. Look at what new in the unopened boxes of Triumph traps are worth, IF you can find them. That's what I planned on but 50 years? I'll do the math. So when I'm 110 they might be worth something?!?!

Yea but I doubt anyone was setting back full boxes of Triumphs for collecting purposes back in the day.
