Wanted to give a shout out to the group in how they have made the forum more user friendly place to ask questions. I don't visit often anymore and by the names on the first page posts new blood has taken the reins. This is a good thing! The old guard turned it into more chance to be criticized then getting useful answers to your question. If the word Chloroform turn up in the old days 20 or more responses either nasty or useless tirades. I thought the way it was handled in this new post was spot on. Well done guys!

Perhaps the fact that many of us have used hundreds of gallons in the last thirty years without incident, has finally sunk in!

Kurt, the best part is, that the most flak I receive on the subject is from one of my best friends. But thinking about it, the majority of his work is bats and rodents, so he really doesn't need it!

Awe, Thanks Winki.

I just try to stick to the facts, of it not being legal for the purposes ADC use it. I remember working for another best friend, and using it on skunk/window well jobs. I was just a college kid at the time, and had no idea of the hazards or laws that govern the use. I recall being groggy and driving down the road. For this reason, when I started my own company that did handle all types of wildlife for quite a number of years, we never used it. There are safer methods that are legal, and of less risk. One day, someone is going to sue big. I'm not sure if it will be an employee or a customer....but it will happen. All the legal debates are on this site using key word chloroform.

Dave, I'm glad you told me. I won't let any college kids use it; they might get groggy too. As far as I know in the last 30 years no one has gotten groggy, except you!
