I've always had luck in any kind of remake. I'll never pull that trap as long as I am on that ground. Five is the most out of one set for me on coyotes and fox I've caught up to eight. I always have at least two sets on a location so I already have a set outside the catch circle. Often times the remake for me is the first to connect again. Not always.

So it is settled, sometimes remakes connect, somtimes they don't.

50% of the time it works every time lol

Unless of course you consider other variables;

1. How long have you trapped the area?
2. How many have you caught?
3. Do you have competition?
4. Is the coyote population heavy, medium, or thin?
5. Is the population healthy or are some sickly?
6. How confident are you in your remakes?
7. How long do you intend to stay?
8. Are you witnessing any coyote refusals?
9. Will the weather be a factor? Wet + remakes can = mud
10.And so on and so on...
