Anyone ever set a conibear on the opening of a hollow log? I'm not talking about a stump, but rather a log (wouldn't need to be real long) laying on it's side. I haven't, but it seems it'd make a good natural funnel/cubby. Finding a log with a big enough hole & then figuring out how to mount the trap might be the challenge.

I was thinking about that Moose. I may give it a try, and then try to figure out how to mount the trap.
