They will unload on occasion in a coni. Depends alot on how it catches them.

Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

So I'm guessing this is a residential area or under a house?

My first thought whether under a house or on a farm would be to find out where you think they are coming from and set them there. If using a 160 I would not get my hopes up too high that there would be no spray.

I don't know anything about them becoming trap shy.

I have tried putting vinegar over skunk sprayed areas on lawns in an effort to dampen the smell. I guess I don't remember how well it worked but it showed I made an effort to clean up the area.

I've used 160's on skunk with good success . Not much trouble with spraying . When setting on a trail I bend the wires like a football field goal and put the trigger up ( on top ) . Then blend it . Usually have them behind the head or across the shoulders

I'd Rather Try And Fail Then Not Try And Succeed
