So in speaking with other baitmakers from the EU or UK. They all say the same thing when they find out our shellfish oil smells like canned sweet corn......

Why would it smell like that?

I personally don't know why it smells like that but I can say that when I get Shellfish extract from the UK.......Yeah, the difference between the two is basically like the distance between Earth & Pluto. With that said, I'm sure that our shellfish is made with a different crustacean than theirs is. They also say it might be preserved in corn oil. It really doesn't matter anyway, our shellfish oil is great for sweet dough type baits. It's a huge ordeal trying to find a place to ship shellfish extract from the UK though.

Why does our cold pressed shellfish oil smell like sweet corn? What crustacean is actually used to make it?

it is artificial and its not all the same.

Theirs might be edible. Coon, etc, don’t seem to like the taste of ours. Yet they’re still drawn to the odor.
