I also would suggest you just write if off. I am not a life member of anything. Life is to short to get stuck for your hard earned money. Thanks for the warning! JMO

People that owe me money,if close enough,I drive to their house early in the am and park in the driveway. When they come out to go to work,I approach them for the money,I'm very polite to them, but they get the point. 100% success rate to date!

If any of your transactions took place through the US mail system and they defrauded you they may be in violation of Federal law. You may want to contact the US Post Office about filing a complaint.
If these guys have any smarts whatsoever they probably have some fine print in their agreement that give them a way out of the contract.

It is unfortunate that crawfishing is tolerated nowadays!

I'd hide my # so the phone got answered and go full on Roy D. Mercer on somebody

I've been thinking about that lately since there's no interest to be earned any more on these things. Back in 1988 when I bought a lifetime membership in the Iowa Trappers Assn, I think it was $250 and the way it was set up was that the interest on your money paid for your magazine subscription and they actually made money on it.

Your post triggered me to look at their website and see what the cost is now. They just raised the lifetime membership from $400 to $1000. I'm probably costing the ITA money, which of course was the opposite of my intent at the time. Guess I'll be thinking about how to correct that.

If you think of something, let me know. Glad I'm not the only one who feels guilty. The MTA is as fine an organization as you can find and I sometimes feel like I'm ripping them off because of the life membership I bought long ago.

I would get his address and drive to his house and find out what's going on. $200.00 is a lot of money.

It is what it is.

And proceed with Actors suggestion.

Appreciate all the comments. Well, most of them

Does your offer just apply to 330-Trapper?
I need stuff and the feeling of belonging to something forever.

Good afternoon

I rarely post anything but felt compelled to speak up. I agree with what many have said about the $200, it sucks but write it off and move on. In regards to the life memberships and said benefits I also have life memberships that were purchased years ago and are no longer cost effective for the organizations. I simply make a donation each year, no need to feel guilty and depending on the organization they can be a tax deduction.

Have a good afternoon

Blatent Thievery should not be written off and just accepted. Voiding a paid for Offer. Is Just That

Especially now that They are promoting New Lifetime deals as we speak to a whole New unsuspecting crowd.

Sad to see this happen to anyone. I was watching his videos like 25yrs ago and loved him! Never met him or ordered anything from him so there you go... I'd raise a lil heck about it but count it at as loss. You got some items and recouped some of the money so that's good. Crazy never thought he'd be a crook, guess one eyed bowhunting ain't what it use to be?
