kyron4 OP trapper K Joined: Jun 2013 Indiana	I have heard that the skunk smell after a catch and remake is a great coyote attractant. I have two sets that have caught skunks and I haven't caught anything since. So is the skunk smell hurting or helping ? -Thanks

strike2x trapper Joined: Jan 2015 Houghton Lake, MI	Maybe the only thing there was skunk. How long has it been? Are you staying away? Did you use fresh trap? Is the trap still working? Most often if you make a non target catch like skunk or possum it will add a little something to the set. Depends on a lot of things. Wish I had more time to trap....

strike2x trapper Joined: Jan 2015 Houghton Lake, MI	I had a set near a skunk set that connected after 26 days of a skunk. I left it because I liked the area and I went by it on my line anyhow. That is where choice comes in, keep or pull by convenience. If you have traps and it is not out of your way leave it. But youndo need to rebait on occasion. Nice and even possom will steal bait rendering set useless. Wish I had more time to trap....
