I got these Gamma seal screw top bucket lids today and put them to use. I am very impressed so far, I ranch so i always have a surplus of buckets sitting around. This is why there my go to for bedding dirt, keeping traps scent free, trapping gear. If you are looking for something weather proof, and to get in and out of with ease, I would recommend these as a cheap and durable method of storage. Beats the heck out of a regular bucket lid 100%.....

I have not checked the gasket on the screw too part yet i guess, thanks for the heads up on that. Maybe a little RTV on it will solve that issue.

Yeah, they're great until the o-ring goes, then they leak. Get a few replacement gaskets to have on hand.

Lexington Container Co., Lexington, KY., has these. They're $6.99 on line, $5.99 in the store. They're located on 140 Dewy Drive Nicholasville, KY. Good folks and a great product. Used mine hard for 10 years before first gasket
failed. Buckets don't go on the ATV without one.

Mine has fallen off one time....in the dark while doing a remake. It was a miracle that I noticed a circle on the ground and picked it up to investigate.

They are great for bait making too, way easier to stir bait daily with those lids.

Those lids will lock on tight though, lol. Can be a real bear to loosen them.

I’ve ran them for years. The buckets fit perfect in a milk crate.

We have used them for years. My wife has a small baking business so we buy flour and sugar in 50lb bags. Buckets are a much better way to store them. I also have several for emergency stock, salt etc. They are a good place to store seeds as well.

They could have designed them a little better in my opinion. In order for them to seal completely, you need to torque them down until they deform the o-ring to complete the seal. Doing so makes them hard to get off.
Rain water will accumulate at the seal area. A better design would involve a way for rain water to run off away from the seal area.
Have 2 of them and I have resorted to store them on their side to keep water off of the seal area.

They also fit on 3.5gal buckets. That’s what I use for my lure bucket. They are also made for 2 gal buckets but only in white I think.

One of those items that once you use them you’ll wonder how you made it without it.
