Age of that trap really decides the value of the trap. Plus the condition. Is the pan readable. Is there pitting. The age is really the deciding factor. Post some pictures of the complete trap and the pan close up if you can.

Based on the information provided, $30.00 is a very good offer (in my opinion). I would sell the trap before he changes his mind.

You might check the pan stamping. There are a couple of stamping that are more valueable but most #3 Triumphs have a standard stamping.

TRIUMPH at the top

size info in the middle

Company name at the bottom.


Triumph traps were last made in the 1930s. A very prolific trap making company,

Cross pans. And T pans are worth more,,,also pans stamped REV O NOC
