I have heard many comments about solar shield. What makes this special compared to other chaulks?

If I remember right, it's a tripolimer sealant. It was extremely thick. Some liked it, my partner and I didn't. Try it, and try a bunch of other brands. Eventually you'll find one you like. Then winter will come along and that stuff will be so thick it cant get out the tube! You'll remember how great it was in the summer and figure out how to warm it. Then, the tube will slowly cool down in the cold air and you'll be back at the starting point. Then you'll try some more sealants!
