I found a rack that mounts on the back of my '97 Indy Trail. Talk about solid, wow. It's the Polaris brand rack designed for my machine. Very heavy duty, & not fun to install (maybe I'll finish tomorrow). The only real downside noticed so far is it blocks access to my rear 'glove box/seat compartment.' Maybe there's good cargo bag(s) on the market.? Also, I have to try to mount it such that I can ensure it won't rub & tear up the seat. So far I think I'll like it.

Its nice to find stuff thats built to last. Everything about my old Bearcat is built that way. Bumpers and rear rack tubing is twice the diameter of the stuff on my new machine.

do unto others as you would have them do unto you

Probably the same rack I used to bolt onto the 550 rmks I used to use. They were solid.
