If you could average 20 a day you'd need 50 good days. Those early season days where he was under 10 a day didn't help his cause out any.

That skinning job would take some getting used to, no thanks.

Atta boy, stack em up. Anyone running there mouth in a negative way, is merely jealous and lacking the skill set or drive to shoot for this size of goal.

He has 10 so far today and starts EVERY MORNING AT 3:30. Out of the 35 he caught yesterday he skinned 31, 4 weren't worth the freezer space.

I rolled out at 7: 30 this morning LOL

After reading his blog I have come to the conclusion that I am hopelessly lazy. ..... And aim to stay that way.

He is the dude for sure. Hats off!

It reminded me of my tepid self challenge back some 20-25 years ago to take 500 beaver. I did succeed, but I had help skinning/putting up and stayed in state. Never got up at 3:30 either. LOL

This is in the ballpark with Paul Millette's 1013 beaver season. All put up and most taken under ice.
The drive to keep on going full pin like that day after day is amazing.

he was worried about what I caught ahead of him, I don't think I got 50 and that was playing around. I ONLY HAD ABOUT 45 TO 50 traps with me this year. getting more than I could skin by dark was what I wanted to stay away from. What I told him the other day was that about after a week its time to change up bait, sets and location. that way it helps keep em coming in. years past after hitting them hard it drops off real quick.

ill tell you what, hes got the work ethic. he was getting on me for not being able to skin everything each day and said, well you got all night.
I called him the next day to explain that when you are dealing with what I have, you must have rest. even if I do get a good 8hrs sleep. I am only running on about 4 cylinders. so I made a decision this year just to go out and enjoy myself, which I did. if anyone can do it, I believe he can. I wish we could have lined up the dates better to where we could have got there the same time. with all the competition he is going to have his work cut out for him. Good luck buddy.

Just got off the phone with him, and I ask him. He said depends on the weather, he can either drop into NM or OK if the weather goes south. He caught 22 and a cat today!

I'm a little jealous, but after a couple days of skinning 20 + coyotes I think it would go away

The stuff with SH, WileyE, copy/paste master had nothing to do with the 1000 coyote attempt. It was over the aerial gunning thing.

If you were around back in the beginning of T-man you should remember the great debates between him and BW.
You'd open a thread that had 10 posts on it and by the time you were done reading it there'd be 20 more added to it.

I know a guy on here that caught over 200 in 2 weeks of vacation from work last year. Interesting part is to my knowledge he's never made 1 post about coyotes on here.
