Nice capture! It is getting rare to see the native sparrows here. Cowbirds may be responsible for that. I have seen little chipping sparrows on the ground here with young cowbirds following waiting for food. I have seen a couple of native sparrows this year so I hope they do make a comeback.

I followed Jonathan on Flicker for several years, as a avid birder it was always nice to see birds from a different part of the country. I got into bird photography originally to help myself identify birds and later as a way to document rare and unusual birds I came across.
