Will boiling Temps (212) destroy the integrity of essential oils or should I wait till it cools, then add?

I would wait until your heated batch cools under 120 degrees or less prior to adding any actives to reduce and avoid any integrity loss. Some ingredients are more subject to compromise then others. Mints hold fairly well while others may be more inclined to be affected adversely.

Thank you. Have you ever heard of using the trimmings and frogs from horses hooves? How would you prepare? How much zinc valerate/gallon of product to preserve something?

If an oil is distilled through steam distillation how would the same temps used to create it, effect it to the point of changing it. Pressed or solvent created oils would be different.
