Im making this thread to make you think. It does not have to be a big producer, just a set that does NOT involve holes of any sort. Mine would be the sandwitch set for mink. Whats yours? Mink
It takes 1 tree to make 1000 matches, but 1 match to burn 1000 trees. - Unknown.

Whats a mock slide?
A sandwitch set, my friend, is a flat rock in shallow water. Then you put a fish or muskrat or whatever on the rock and top with another flat rock. Then you set 2 traps in the water on both sides. Cover the rock with something natural, make it look like its been through high water, and finish with a touch of lure.
I also enjoy a culvert set. This one is formed by wiring 2 1.5 to a cinder block and is placed in a flat bottomed culvert. Make the traps to where they are about an inch or so under water, then put lure on the concrete wall 1 foot above and in between the traps. Mink

Bottom edge set for mink. Culvert set described above a close second if the water stays open(great on spring fed trout streams).
