Alright, I’ve read the meat is good to eat and I have plenty for bait. Which cut/cuts would be the best for the grill! Bone in or out? And yes, I’m serious. Really want to try it just to say I have. I’ve eaten coon and tried possum...both were ok, just not something you’d call your wife and tell her to thaw out cause you was craving it.

I do not waste bobcat as bait. Good eats in my book about any way you want to fix.

Let us know how it turns out I've been wanting to try some but I have to convince my dad he's not sold on eating a member of the cat family lol

Unlike coon and possum you will actually find bobcat to be enjoyable to eat.
Take a couple of hind legs, bone in and roast them in a baking dish, rosemary is a good spiceto use. Then slice the meat off the bone like a turkey leg.
I used to make turkey sandwiches out of it and serve it to friends, they won't believe you when you tell then what it is.

Cube the back straps and pan fry in garlic and butter, serve it along with the eggs

Cut out the backstraps, marinade them for several days, then grill them! They sure are tasty, they taste like pork!

Thank you gentlemen! I’ll keep the next one for my consumption, rather than the coyotes and bobcats. Still new at this, but bobcat meat in a hole or even a pipe is one of the best baits I’ve tried.

Cook it well,they are susceptable to trichinosus.
