Do i need to put SB in it to keep for a year or so or is it ok in a glass jar without and does species matter for adding preservatives say fox or cat versus coyote . went to get some from a guy and he had one bottle that was sewage but the rest were fine that bottle was yellow and others were dark and good how would bladder urine straight from bladder get a sewage smell

Clean drained bladder urine will not need any preservative of any kind in my experience. As long as no contaminates are transferred while draining the bladder you should be fine. Use a clean container to put the urine in or you will possibly cause bacteria to invade the otherwise clean urine.

Most all urine will change in color over time as is with most organic materials. Refrigeration or freezing will keep the deterioration to a minimum. If in doubt add just a bit of methyl paraben and shake well.
