But It's more likely you just have a humidity problem. Some WD-40 rubbed over the effected area will take care of the problem. The forum Know It All according to Muskrat

trapper20 trapper Joined: Dec 2014 Posts: 2,239 SW WI	what beav said, I accidently left 3 dried ccons in my old basement (damp down there during the summer) Well i remembered mid summer and there was so much mold on the hides yuo couldnt tell what they were. I tossed mine, prolly out 15 bucks LOL
