I was wondering if someone could give me the dimensions for the box for coons and the size of the hole for mink boxes. I made the hole 1 3/8 because that is the biggest drill bit I had, is the hole big enough? Thanks

Thanks...What size hole for mink boxes? Do minks like chicken liver like weasel or would a fish bait be better?

I've never used liver for mink. But, fish works best for me over all other baits.

It's been months since I bought the book, "How To Scam People On Line". It still hasn't arrived yet.

1 3/8 is fine for weasel. I'd go 2 1/4 for mink. Cut the hole with a saber saw the mink won't complain. Weasel gland works great for both weasel and mink. I add a touch of gh-II seems to do the trick.

The overhang is to discourage Dogs from entering...it also keeps snow away from the trap, but mostly it's for dogs. Dosen't slow the Coons/fishers down at all... Maddog47 has caught his limit of Bobcats with these dimentions this year also.

If I would set the box up with a foothold for coon or bobcat, how far from the entrance should I place the trap?

The best way to cut large holes is with a hole saw in a drill.
