Update.
Some times you just have bad days. 3 coyotes and one badger.
62 degree's today and looks like the same for tomorrow. Coyotes don't move much when their wearing those heavy winter coats. Meeting with some land owner as I type this. And Is meeting with another tomorrow. This cold rolling takes up a good part of the day. Then of coarse they have to give you a guided tour of the property.
Has about 80 sets In the ground at this time.
Stay tuned.

Regardless of the outcome I think everyone can agree that the spirit of this kind of goal is an inspiration to us all. The haters that question him just hate themselves because they don't have the intestinal fortitude to tackle this goal themselves. Most of us (including me) will not sacrifice family time, work time, etc., To even attempt this feat. Godspeed fellow trapper, hope you blow your goal out of the water. With your sacrifices, you have definitely earned my respect, 1000 coyotes or not.

Tuned in as well. I've been downright impressed with this whole thing. Quite the quest. Takes a ton of grit and skill.

Tuned in as well. I've been downright impressed with this whole thing. Quite the quest. Takes a ton of grit and skill. Yes it is. Gaining permission, planning the goal, figuring the strategic methods, and having sufficient talent to cold roll spot locations and figure how many sets to use over and over is just a piece of this puzzle. But perhaps the greatest hurdle is physical stamina. Pure ability to do it day after day after day. Weather beats on you. Snapped traps wear on you. Bending over 1,000,000 times is not easy on the joints or the back. Road jars are rugged after weeks of it. And then the skinning..... goodness. The hands and the sausages on it that used to look like fingers! Robert, well done brother. You've cleared such a hurdle even the negative Neds can't find a reason to knock knock knock ya. I know the coyotes will be glad when you call it good for the year! Oh hey, when you hit 911, stand there for a second and sing that little ditty, "Who you gonna call? Call 911." If I was them I'd call #950-#1,000 and tell them to scatter! Good luck bro.

God his bad days are more like my whole weeks or more worth. This is impressive and only those who've trapped coyotes get it how hard this really is to pull off. His take so far, wow, just wow. There is a king among us for sure. Jim
Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.
