Are cable restraints in wheel tracks (on logging or access roads) good for catching bobcat? Even if a truck hasn't went thru recently, the wheel tracks have a natural dip compared to the center of the road. If cats going around the loop would be a concern, I can add some guiding...so long as it doesn't create entanglement.

I think they and other animals are just as likely to travel down the center of the road.Some animals will travel in the rut on the inside of a turn,especially if it is lower than the opposite rut.You just have to study your country and see how things are traveling.

I find they don't walk in the road and instead walk at the edge next to brush or I find them crossing the road.


I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.
