Pretty sure I just caught the cat that’s been ignoring me! Do I go dispatch now or trust the trap and see if something else comes along and hits the set closer to the camera???

Yes sir. When I trap a property I have to map it out to be able to drive it and check traps while trying to hold my day job which starts at 0700.
So I put the Spartan in traps that aren’t exactly on the route...only have to go there when a catch is made or the stupid deer trip the traps.
Remade this very set this evening because of tripped trap last night.
And then she came along!! She wasn’t going anywhere either. 3rd cat off this property and 2nd off this road. 2 in a Pipe Dream set and one in a dirt hole. And yeah, I wouldn’t have slept a wink knowing she was there, lol!!

Every place has cats down here it seems. More lucky than good.

I didn’t post this to brag, I honestly just wanted someone to tell me to go get it, lol! Figured y’all would no more than I do. I’m learning every day. And thanks for the advice!

I won’t even shoot them from the deer stand...I’d rather catch them. And oddly enough, no, never caught a kit.

This is legal in Georgia?
In Michigan, a trail cam is not a means of checking your traps.
Nice cat though! I dont even have a season on them here. Very few around me.

When life gets me down..... you know hunting/trapping season is closed.
