Just got 5 cat carcasses from a buddy, TX cats a guy gave to him and a few fox. I have 15 more cat carcasses in my freezer so I plan to grind them up for cat bait. I have 3 5 gallon buckets I never use (because it’s in 5 gallon pails) so I’m thinking about hooking up bread bags to the grinder and filling up bread bags so it can be used easier during the season.
The plan would be to fill and double bag a few pounds of meat in each bag to be carried in then unwrapped for cubbies my main set for cats. Currently I’m using beaver, jackrabbit and chickens I get from my coop and some from my neighbor.
I do this with carp when I run cages stuffing freezers with bread bags full of carp, during slow times pull out a bag or two during primetime pull three bags and fill a 5 gallon bucket the night before.
Just think a nice chunk of bait that’s easy to handle that the rodents can work on and not haul away might work better for me.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

cat meat mixed in Dobbins bait solution is a very good yote bait for me. The only other meat that comes close was beaver. now here we go....now its not really a bait but a lure. I like it best that way with others for the "bait".
