Yes and I'm more confident now. When I started close to 40 years ago trapping beat me up didn't catch much but I learned. Probably more excited now

I certainly look forward to it every year. I've enjoyed connecting with landowners, but mostly the time I've spent with my boys and also the time alone checking traps. I love running sets at 3:00AM. Clear night, stars, and flashlight beams looking for eye reflections coming from the next set ahead. Just plain fun. Jim
Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

No, at my age I don't get excited about anything.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

I can't wait for season to start, am sorry to see it end and spend a lot of the off time reading and preparing for the next season. So I guess the answer is yes. I still have restless night wondering what I might find in my traps on the new sets. Enjoy finding a catch in a trap from muskrat to Bobcat. Besides, at my age if I quit I would probably get get.
Wish I had more time to trap....

I use to...when I saw 150.00 otter in the trap....or a 160.00 fisher. Trapping for me Is like a scratch ticket....who gets excited with a 2.00 Winnah ?
