Thank you to the CREW. Once again you make my job and Todd's job much more palatable. You all are truly professionals when it comes to doing what we do.
One needs to understand how the report comes out. Without going into complete detail. I would say those IA coyotes were harvested in parts of NE. So I wouldnt bet the farm that IA coyotes are that.
AGAIN, thank you to all who helped. Sorry to hear you lost your phone. Good luck on picking up a new one.

Looks like the cats were down, but not as low as 2016 especially on the high cats (it was $250 in 2016 with $108 average). Probably due to the price gap between A grade and B grade cats. Totals out to a 52% decrease on the average which sucks but is a lot better then the doom and gloom predictions were. Hopefully the Nephi sale tomorrow shows the same or better. But like wissmiss said, numbers only tell you so much. Gotta see the goods to get a good idea. Thats why I mainly compare from that states previous years. Keep our fingers crossed!!!!
If traps work like the Antis say......I would have no fingers.

A huge thanks to the few volunteers that spend the time helping pull this off. Yes coyotes by state only represent where they were shipped from. Most will be from the state shown, but state jumpers can skew the numbers Over all I would say this was a somewhat poor collection of coyotes over all. Lot of worn weak coyotes defiantly didn't help the average. Good clean sets of heavy silky coyotes and clean sets of semi- heavies were rewarded. Open, weak, commercials took a hit. III's actually were a money maker for guys if the put them up well.
Crafters pushed the cat market which helped the overall average. Westerns were what they were, no pushing or shoving to own them.
Antler sold a little over prices in the country The tanned and trinket market has softened, a number of buyers bought at what they need but did not fight one another.
I'm glad we survived and pulled it off again.
My thanks to all that support our organization.

Didn't see the fur but it sounds like maybe the coyote buyers are being slightly more cautious? Coronavirus worries?

See below- Evidently Canada Goose sells a lot of merchandise in China. Coronavirus outbreak could not of happened at a worse time with fur sales coming up. Those that sold early will be thankfull they did. I guess Canada Goose buys lots of coyotes.
The U.S.-listed shares of Canada-based Canada Goose Holdings Inc. (GOOS.T) tumbled 9.6% in premarket trading Friday, after the luxury apparel company beat fiscal third-quarter profit expectations but lowered the full-year outlook, citing a "material negative impact" from the coronavirus outbreak in China. Net income rose to C$114.7 million ($86.2 million), or C$1.07 a share, from C$105.3 million, or 93 cents a share, in the year-ago period. Excluding non-recurring items, adjusted earnings per share came C$1.08, above the FactSet consensus of C$1.07. Revenue rose 13.2% to C$452.1 million ($339.8), matching the FactSet consensus of C$451.2 million. The company lowered its fiscal 2020 guidance, saying "the health crisis has resulted in a sharp decline in customer traffic and purchasing activity," with retail stores and e-commerce activity in China experiencing "significant reductions" in revenue. The company now expects full-year revenue growth of 13.8% to 15.0%, compared with previous guidance of at least 20% growth. The stock has dropped 13.4% over the past three months through Thursday, while the S&P 500 has gained 8.5%.

A lot of the averages do not seem to be correct. Looks to me the going by number sold and total amount, Coyotes sold just over $69 ave. (up 10%) Rats, 2.25 , (25%) grey fox almost $17.50 (up over 30%) etc. either I'm wacko or must be the new math they talk about over on the L N Y X

Havent done the math that way, but that would be my guess.
