Nope, not about his opinion. I'm calling him out as a liar. Simple as that. He can always prove me wrong and I will apologize.

At least Trump will have a good ad on the Super bowl. The Bloomberg ad is a negative gloomy gun ad and nothing more. The Trump ad is a positive uplifting one directed toward the growth of this country.

I'm Pro 2A, and there hasn't been any argument stated on this thread yet to convince me that watching a football game makes me a supporter of the anti-gun movement.

Does anyone know if the decision to run any given ad is made by the Super Bowl committee, or by the network broadcasting the event?

Has anyone seen the Second Amendment ad in question?

Does anyone know what reasons were given for refusing the ad?

Jim

I'm willing to bet more members of Trapperman will watch at least part of the Super Bowl than the ones that won't watch by 2:1 at least.

I wouldn't miss it. And if somebody who likes to watch football misses it because they are afraid some commercial might brainwash them and turn them into an anti-gun zealot-well, ya gotta feel sorry for him.

And I won't be taking any pics of my buddies and our spouses to prove anything. The wives will fuss over the commercials and the guys will watch the game and eat chicken wings and whatever else the girls fix for us.....This is a great country!and things like this game is part of what make it so.;)

:DYou be a pretty funny guy, finny. And ya just don't seem ta git it-Yer opinion means less than nothin' to me. And I think you gonna be watchin' jist like most of the rest of us.... Now don't ya go feelin' too guilty it. wink

BTW, I was watching a monday night game with the two older guys this fall and the discussion came up about the players who used to kneel during the National Anthem. The older guys said, "Well, I don't suppose we should be complaining too much when we sat in our chairs drinking beer while it was sung." He has a way of cutting through most of the BS so many people make a big deal about.

Well, you're going to watch it with a bunch of people that don't exist except in your imagination. You opened your big mouth talking about everyone but General Patton coming over to wave the flag and watch the game. I call BS and I called you out as a liar. Prove me wrong or run and hide. You're not fooling anyone. Want an apology? Post a picture and make sure you prove the date. Some old tin photo from the civil war just ain't gonna cut it.

Well I for one am glad they are running an anti gun ad featuring Bloomberg. Let the inattentive masses know exactly what he stands for. I suspect most citizens want to keep their GOD GIVEN RIGHT! With the exception of some illegals and leftist groups that hijack mom to push their agenda giving it kudos, I believe it will work out in our favor.
As for the game my church is having a Super Bowl get together so I expect I'll see bits of it but really their for the fellowship. Not a pro football fan but I expect I'll root for the Chiefs.

The whole Kobe Bryant thing is a good example. Eight other people died in that copter crash. But because they weren't really good at bouncing a ball up and down a wooden court and throwing it through a hoop they got next to no recognition. But the guy who could do that made national news for days.

There are folks who still fly the number 3 flag and mourn Dale Earnhardt nearly twenty years later.

I get acknowledging athletic talent but idolizing these guys and girls, I'll never get that.

I still cant believe dudes wearing the jersey of their favorite player ...seems kinda wierd or homo to put another dudes name on your back

The NFL rejected it saying it promoted guns. I saw the ad and it promoted self-defense for the family and the fellow in the ad talking didn’t even mention the word gun or firearms. It showed a picture of him as a former Sargent in the service and pictures of his wife and baby. All he said was nobody has a right to tell me how to defend my family and this was even at the end of the ad. After seeing Bloomberg’s ad, I can see the NFL is definitely biased for gun control zealots and against the second amendment. The ad is on YouTube.
