I recently got a tackle box full of old bass lures. some are wooden Where can I find out just what I have and how would I market them?

There was an interesting article in the latest FFG about antique bass lures. Maybe you have a rare Jenny Mohawk worth $20,000.00 like in the article.
Eh...wot?

Looks like a 60s - 70s tackle box with some 50s lures here and there. My word isn't too good as I m a casual collector, more for hanging in my man cave workshop. I would say though if that box could talk, imagine the fishing memories them lures have. Box looks kinda clean and organized for the age. Curious, a family gift or bought from somewhere? If you don't mind, of course.

If you don't mind, of course. That's exactly what it is. Those lures appear to all have been used pretty good. Example: Creek Chub plunker on top left third one over (not the mouse) is probably a $5-10 lure. Condition is everything for a collector. Don't think there's any high value $100 lures there. I'd keep em and fish em.

E bay would take some time but net you the most perhaps. My best friend has a large fishing reel collection. He is a reel expert, been at it for many years. Myself I collect and use Zebco 33 reels from 50s and 60s I have a vintage tackle set up that I use a lot. I live on a great small fishing lake.

I like old lures, there are a few there I would not mind having, but I use the lures that's what they were made for. Mostly go after hula poppers, jitter bugs and old surface lures. Thanks for posting.
