How can you tell if a beaver is going through a dam vs over? I don't really see any slide looking areas but it looks like it has a little bit of water flow under it right in the middle if that makes sense. I knocked a hole in it yesterday and they repaired it last night as I expected them to. we have 3-5 inches of impending rain starting tomorrow, so I was gonna set it Friday or Saturday depending on what the rain does.

If you'd put a foothold, with breasting sticks, on the deep water side of the hole you put in the dam, it'll be waiting for you.

If ya want the dam gone, to see if they'll move out (which happens once in a while) pull a 2' wide, 2' deep hole in the dam this eve and let the coming rains wash it out.

Right but how can I tell if they are going thru? Is there a tell tale sign? Thanks.

I'm good with the foot trap on the deep side that's the way I do it. Just thinking I could throw in a 330 if I knew how to tell if they were going thru it also. Thanks
