I just purchased a dozen used 155's that were primed then painted green. The paint coat was way to heavey, and we're unsetable. Last night I tried and it took about 10 minutes to get my thumb out of it! That said, any reasonable sized animal firing this trap will be dead right there! Down side are the small spring eyes that causes binding on the jaws while setting them. Also the safeties are set up with one up and one down on the springs. Those need to be set up so they engage in the same direction. As far as setting and firing these traps I can't t say until I strip all that gunked up paint off them. If they are anywhere near as sensitive on firing as the 150's I think they will work well on mink, marten, fisher, and skunk cubbies I use. But again they need to be worked on right out of the box, IMO. Gary.
