Probably Bernie, but Bloomberg might buy his way to the top.

Either one will (should) lose to Trump, hopefully in a landslide.

The DNC will not let Bernie win the nomination.

The Berners are sure fired up over on NPR's comment threads on FB LOL... I think if he gets the nomination stolen from him again that party will implode.

If it means that radical socialism gets pushed back to the fringe then it's good riddance to bad rubbish IMO

Just happy to be here.

My hope and why I'm even considering voting for Bernie in the primary.

Just think...if it happens to be Buttigieg there won't be a "first lady" in the house and I am not sure if they even have a idea of what they will call it.

Klobuchar. She will be a real threat to him. Seems to be no non sense and to the point. Fox News can’t even seem to find much dirt on her. Most of the rest of the Democrat candidates are a joke.

I recently spoke with a Bernie supporter.
Bernie's entire movement is perpetrated online. These people do not watch CNN, MSNBC, no TV news whatsoever.
They lap up their information from the web. The misinformation which these sites are pushing on to the youth of this country scares me.
I debated this young man about gun control (hot topic for us Virginians). Here is what came out of his pie hole.
1) There needs to be common sense gun safety laws (confiscation).
2) There are mass shootings every week.
3) A significant number of those committing mass shootings have manifestos which blame Trump as the reason for the shooting.
I politely requested that he enlighten me about the mass shooting which occurred last week and the week before. I then asked him to name me one which had a manifesto at all, and one that stated that Trump was why he did it.
So how do you suppose he responded to my requests?
If you guessed that he started yelling and name-calling, you would be correct. I told him to get out of my truck, and left him on the side of the road. I told him that maybe Bernie will buy him a truck and wished him luck.

I know I will be voting different this November crop prices are in the tank cattle not so great either. The constitution is going south and what is happening now, is setting a twisted path for administrations to come. You get someone on the far left elected and they start using executive powers like whats is being used now, lets see. All guns are evil and will be collected, drugs are now legal in the nation and Budweiser is banned because its not the beer that california drinks. Impeach me, and toss me in jail my VP will pardon me. Things are getting more and more like what goes on in a communist country. So what, we got a tax break and a deficit of over a trillion dollars. It is just not adding up and it is going to come tumbling down like a stack of bricks. Even the fur market stinks in part because of tariffs. Just don't see the good happening. Not sure we even have support of any other country save Israel, our strongest support has always been Great Briton and Canada and they are on the sidelines.

Everyone wants it now it never happens that way never did, several deals have been made with China, Mexico and Canada but that will take time. As far as fur prices they are the highest when we are in recession you can't have it both ways. With all the new people working they will paying in rather then drawing out that will take time also.

Well like I said the worst thing is what is going on with the constitution and executive powers. All of them have used it to some extent but its way over board now. I take it by your user name and some posts your a law enforcement officer, and understand the separation of powers and three branches of government, right now it seems like that is down the tubes and getting worse each day. For the POTUS to say he can walk down wall street and shoot someone and not be convicted is about going on now. Im guessing if Stone goes to jail which he should because he was tried and convicted he will get a pardon like Sheriff Joe. I hear a lot of talk about supporting the 1st amendment but see that new reporters are barred from the white house. I hear support for the 2nd amendment but not that I really care but bump stocks are banned and things are going south in Virginia with guns laws. I hear lies every day that are outrageous, steel and coal industry still in the dumps. I hear prescription prices are lower?? really where is it all coming from. The Republican party is going to suffer for years to come it may take another 4 years but its coming tit for tat. Just hope we can keep our guns and maybe trapping privileges.

My own thoughts on the matters at hand, no one is doing anything to me without ME letting it happen......does that suggest conflict? YES

Turning me into an outlaw against my will is a bad idea.....just sayin.....

So shall it be! cool

I'm not in the executive branch therefore I don't have to obey anything. I already took all of the orders I'm going to take.

Keep your boots dry and your powder too.

I remember when a fur check was reality.....now I'm just trapping for the love of it.

Best Regards,

JT

Executive power only goes so far and how many were reversed I’m more worried about the lack of accountability by the branches that don’t challenge the abuses. Obummer would of pulled the gun control game but it was beyond his reach or he would have. VA is doing the same thing it should be challenged and should be overturned in time.

Like I said it takes time what VA is doing has been tried and reversed in other places. Like I said the deals have been made with China, Canada and Mexico that are in the works now. All facts

Here is what I don't understand about the whole impeachment fiasco.
They claimed Trump wanted the Bidens investigated for corruption to help Trump personally in his reelection campaign. Wouldn't the DFL benefit from knowing if a politician was corrupt before deciding who will be the party nominee for president?
In fact, one could argue that it would have been far more beneficial to Trump personally to let Biden get the DFL nomination before exposing his corruption. In that case you wouldn't need an investigation to prove anything. Simply run the tape where Biden admits, and brags about, witholding the aid until the prosecuter was fired.
If anything the DFL should thank Trump for exposing their "front runner" before the primaries.

They could not prove Trump did anything it was hearsay for the most part they have Biden on tape admitting the exact same thing and are doing nothing about it, politicians are the problem today everything comes back to them just like VA.

From reading your post you pick and chose the “truths” you like me I don’t believe much at face value.

She was for de listing the wolf in our state. She does have some common sense, and everyone knows it. I personally know republicans in our state that have in past voted for her. She is for skilled union labor, and that is a good thing. Skilled labor isn’t cheap, and cheap labor isn’t skilled. She grew up in a family of hunters and everyone knows that as well. Our current president has done more for gun control then most on here want to admit. Facts are facts.

The fact is the current POTUS has gotten almost 200 conservative federal judges on the bench and 2 supreme court justices. They will do more to protect our 2A rights than the POTUS ever could.

But, but bump stocks blah blah blah. How many actually got turned in or destroyed?

Personally opposed to any socialist agenda, by any party. Opposed to any attempt to change or alter our constitution. And it is ours, We the People. Not the governments to manipulate and change as they see fit. We the People are responsible for our government. We have been given legal right and authority, through the constitution, to protect it, ourselves, and our country. The government is only doing what we allow. They haven't taken anything from you, although, you might give it up.

She said from the beginning when she announced her candidacy during that snowstorm in Minneapolis that she came from a family of hunters but there is no reason her uncle would need a semi auto for deer hunting and that she would be in favor of restrictions on semi autos.
Her stance on wolf de-listing,merely fodder went nowhere and probably meant that way. She certainly didn't get aggressive with it.

Amazes me people still think dems are not for taking guns. Not a one said otherwise, and to the contrary they said they would.

What good is supporting a pro union person if you can't spend your money on a gun if you want?

2 cents, Klobachar has zero chance, she is not radical enough for the people who vote in the Primaries. Bernie will be the nominee or a lot of his supporters will vote Third Party or sit this one out. Bloomberg looks poised to swoop in and be the nominee, but that will fracture the Party and all but assure a Trump victory. None of the current Democratic candidates will motivate the Black vote to turn out in mass like they need and in fact Trump is actually making some small in-roads into the Black vote which would crush whoever is the candidate.

Lot of people said trump had zero chance. We will see. Your right to a point left is extremely radical, but so is the right. There is no middle of the road anymore. Other then Klobuchar she is. Trump appeals to extreme right, as Bernie appeals to extreme left. Both bad options for sure.

Well said.

Bernie is unelectable; if the Dems nominate him, they're finished.

Klobachar could beat Trump, if she gets the nomination.

Buttligeig (sp?) would lose because there is a large bigot vote against gays.

Politics should be a young person’s game. Young people have to live with the consequences longer. So why then, is everybody backing OLD candidates? Bloomberg is ancient! I don’t recall how old the President is but I’m thinking well over 70. Bernie and Joe both have to be pushing 80. Elizabeth Warren is getting right up there too. Klobuchar is younger than Warren. Butta-whatever is the youngest and will probably make it some other time if not this time.

I’m 69 and I know my mental limits. And I do know that if I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer but these 80-ish candidates can’t be any better. Or, won’t get any better as time goes on.

A gay black woman would be considered the trifecta of electability in the Democrat party. No other qualifications required.

Probably almost as many bigots as won't vote for Trump because he's a straight white male.

China's use of the corona virus as a retaliatory volley against U.S. economy over trade deal is the bigger worry. Of course the swamp will be China's ally.

A leader shouldn’t lie so much and cheat at everything he does. Everyone that has anything to do with him ends up in prison. If I was Giuliani I would be nervous. Klobuchar. He is no leader.

Trumps mortality and his lies are far less concerning to me than the left's policies. The truth doesn't hurt, I just know what is most important to me. If I want to look for examples of high moral character it won't be in Washington.

Maybe you could do as Nancy does and say a prayer for him.

Trump vs. Bernie would make for a very interesting election. Plus, it will drive the dems nuts.

- The Wall.

- Treatment of illegals in this country.

- N. Korea.

- Recognizing Jerusalem as the capitol of Israel.

- Guns. (I'm an extremist on this issue too.)

- Kissing Putin's arse.

- Threatening or belittling NATO and other US allies.

The above list is not inclusive.

Jim.

1.) Totally unnecessary of people would respect our borders, unfortunately that is not the case.
2.) Parents often make bad decisions that affect their children's lives. Apparently the democrats don't want to compromise on securing our borders in return for DACA.
3.) The situation is no worse than it has ever been. Trump might be interested in your plan.
4.) They've been fighting over that city since I was born and will be fighting over it when I die. I believe all people should be able to practice their faith freely. Unfortunately many Muslim leaders don't agree with that. Their bad.
5.) I understand Trump doesn't pass the purity test. If you see a Democratic candidate who does.please share.
6.) It's not what one says but what one does. Now if you have seen Trump kiss Putin's arse I understand your outrage.
7.) I like someone who looks out for this countries financial interests.

Have a good evening even if you think Murkowski voted wrong. Lol

Funny thing is I see Trump as a useful tool to preserve my lifestyle and I'm sure he sees my vote as a tool for him to win re-election.

James Buchannon from PA is mostly credited with being the first gay President. He never came out, but all evidence points to him being gay.

I'm extreme right I guess because I think we should secure our border, make other NATO nations pay their share and even out the tariff imbalance

There's not one thing the Dems have been pushing I agree with, starting with guns and ending with all the bennies they want to give illegals.

People often accuse Trump of lying and maybe he has on occasion, but I think what has really got him sideways with alot of folks is his honesty on most issues. Trump says what he thinks and that does not sit well with those who are used to being told what they want to hear.

When a person post that the treatment of illegals is so bad and does not see illegal as a issue you might be a liberal. LOL One minute the debt is a issue then It’s let everyone in and put them on welfare like we have money to spare. It’s easy to be a bleeding heart if you ignore the reality down the road that comes with it.

Correct may folks are happy being lied to and seeing nothing happen good or bad just the run of the mill life with low expectations. Just look at Barry’s voters they think he was so great but can’t name 8 things he accomplished in those 8 years even though they got little and were lied to with a smile.

If the Donald sent 1.7 billion to the number one sponsor of terrorist in the middle of the night what would happen today. Stevie Wonder could see that.

Recognizing Jerusalem as the capitol of Israel.

Ummm every President since Jimmy Carter has said they were going to do this.....only one actually followed through. Radical?

He's been way tougher on Russia than Obama ever dreamed of being. Radical?

Open borders is INSANE, securing the border is common sense. Radical?

Following the Constitution on the 2nd Amendment...Radical??? Hardly

There is nothing RADICAL at all about the President. Being Pro your country is not Radical....not even close.

"A new Gallup pole has encouraging news for President Donald Trump as his battle for reelection heats up: Six in 10 Americans say they are better off than they were three years ago when he took office, and about the same number credit him for the improvement.

No other incumbent president in the past three decades has enjoyed such a high percentage of people saying they feel better about their situation. In 2012, when President Barack Obama was in the White House, 45% of Americans told Gallup they were better off than they were three years ago. In 2004, 1996 and 1992, the number was 50%.

In the latest survey, 61% say they are better off, 36% say they're not and 3% say they're about the same.

A strong majority of Americans (62%) say Trump should get credit for improving the economy. Thirty-seven percent say he deserves a "great deal" of credit, and 25% say he deserves a "fair amount." Nineteen percent say he should not take much credit, and 18% say he deserves none at all."

"The Gallup survey was conducted from Jan. 16-29 with a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points."

https://news.yahoo.com/more-6-10-americans-feel-150836030.html

President Trump's numbers are expected to be higher right now.

obama does not even endorse bloomberg for president in the ad. The ad is just a hodgepodge of old video clips, photos and tapes cobled together to make gullible people think obama is endorsing him.

bloomberg is hoping to trick black voters into supporting him after all the terrible things he has said about and had done to black people. I don't think it will work. I think that most black people know bloomberg thinks they are despicable.
