3 more skunks today and 2 coons that I could of done without just plugging up my skunk traps. 4th skunk in 3 days in the same trap the one that had the double yesterday that makes 10 in 3 days plus 2 road killed ones. Another in that 220 Belisle that foot caught that skunk the other day this one was suit-cased not going anyplace.

Skunks all over around here. Seen a few dead ones laying on the HWY. And while driving late at nite from calling stand to stand, I have seen a few each nite. You can sure smell them too even if you don't see them.

Haven't seen a skunk in our area for a few years. Lots of owls , hawks and eagles though.

Do they usually spray when you catch them in conibers?

I'm always amazed at how large most of the skunks are that you catch.

I’d say 50/50 in a Coni you never know the last 2 did not spray.

That's awesome Jerry. Those are some dandy skunks. If you don't mind me asking are you making pocket sets or trail sets or both with the 220 setup?

Just setting a old den hole along a feedlot bank grown over with grass this had tracks going into it, it’s not far from the deer carcass I put in a tree belt for snaring yotes. Several holes but this one was active. Most are coming from cages. I have it set up with the locals they set cages and I take care of the skunks they catch I get the skunks the don’t need to shoot them and stink up their places. I run my own traps also but I get a lot of skunks from the locals that do the work and give away the skunks.
