Southern Fox Trapping Tips is an awesome book written by Bill Kindervarter. The book contains 28 pages and is in nice condition, it is dated 1976. At the time of the writing of the book Kindervarter spent over fifty years on the trapline. The author states that he makes no claim to be the originator of all of the sets that he is describing, however a number of them, so far as he knows, have never been in print before.

Journal of a Trapper (1834-1843 time frame of story) is a paperback book written by Osborne Russell, it contains 191 pages and is in nice condition, the book was edited by Aubrey Haines. The Journal of a Trapper is perhaps the best account of the life of a fur trapper in the Rocky Mountains when the trade there was at its peak. It is a factual, unembellished narrative written by one who was not only a trapper but also a keen observer and an able writer.

The Complete Cooner is an excellent coon trapping method book written by Ray Milligan, it contains 52 pages and is in nice condition, it is a 2nd printing dated March 1984. The authors coon trapping methods all have one thing in common: They are effective. Milligan tells of the habits of coon, how to prepare and select equipment, the preparations of baits, lures and attractants, how to make the sets, where to make the sets, discusses cold weather trapping and much, much more.

Space-Age Beaver and Otter Trapping by John Clouser is a 41 page method book in good condition. Copyrighted in 1969, the cover illustration was by George Marzeck. Clouser gives the beavers habits, tells what equipment to use, what sets to make, how to handle and market the furs, tells of equipment to use for otters, discusses their habits, sets to use and even tells of some adventures for the big ones. If you want to learn how to trap beaver and otters this is the book for you.

Trapline Adventure Stories by Neil Olson is a mighty fine book containing 76 pages, the book is in nice condition. The book is a series of short stories which according to Olson are mostly true and above all humorous. If you are looking for a method book on how to trap various critters this book is not for you, if you are looking for a good read with lots of humor it is a must have book. All in all it is a very entertaining read.

Advanced Foxology is if fine method book written by Don Nicely, Jr. Nicely was a professional trapper and lure maker. The book contains 79 pages and is in very nice condition. Nicely covers a lot of ground with this book describing sets and locations, he even tells how to handle the fur and collect the glands.

You Can Make Record Coon Catches by Carroll Black is an excellent method book, it is in nice condition containing 64 pages, a previous owner did write his name on the first page. The introduction states, " A lot of books and methods have been written over the past few years on coon trapping, some good and, to be quite frank, some only fair. This book will be written in depth on the taking of coon in numbers, drowning vs. non-drowning, vehicle and boat trapping. Speed trapping will also be covered to no small degree. Lure and bait usage are always of great interest among any group of trappers as is equipment, pre-season work, thieves, cold weather trapping, etc. which we will talk about shortly. Trapping & Handling American Raw Furs is a fine method book written by C. O. Lippert. The book is in very nice condition, containing 80 pages, it is a second edition, circa 1946. It is a guide for trappers in preparing, trapping, handling and marketing raw furs. Detailed information on Sets and the care and handling of pelts.
