You think exactly like I do. I always said when I could do the same I would consider myself an accomplished trapper.

Could be lure/bait. I truly believe that's what most of my issue was. I'd consistently have tracks walk right by all of my sets. I don't think they noticed/liked what they smelled.

Could be. One property they’ll come easy, the next property it’s like trying to catch a unicorn. I’ll use the same baits and sets that worked on the previous property and nothing...so far.

A great morning after over 1.5” of rain yesterday and last night. The managers son checked this morning and would send a pic after every catch. First set with a critter was a possum...that’s makes #4 at that intersection. Next was a coon. Then I get a call and pic at the same time. This was his first time riding up on a coyote in a trap, lol. He was ecstatic! I thought that’s a pretty good night as I hung up. About 3 minutes later I get another call and pic. He said you know that first trap you put in yesterday? (he rode with me and I put in a couple new sets) Well, we got a fox!! So off to the Taxidermist he goes, lol. The landowner was wanting a couple coyotes and he wanted the fox. I was happy, the owner is happy, and that kid is happy! Been a great day!! [Linked Image]

Really good mix. Especially like the gray. Wish we had them here. Would've been even better if you had another bobcat instead of opossum lol.

Or a bobcat with the mix. That would cover my normal catch. Did have a coyote, bobcat, coon, and possum on my last property and I was wishing for a fox to complete it, lol. The owner and manager said they’d never seen a fox out there.
