Caught a buck mink in a Bridger 150 set for rats. Caught the mink coming into the rat bank den. They're definitely past their prime so I think I'll just have it tanned. Would it be worth it to skin it for taxidermy or should I just tan it and keep it? Also caught a beaver today, that got sent down a wire.

You would have to ask around for any taxidermist that might want one. Otherwise I would tan it. One critter I don't have tanned yet.

Yeah I'll probably tan it, just because it's the biggest mink I've caught. And even for a taxidermy price it might be worth more to me to have my best mink to date.

I say tan it, unless you find a taxidermist willing to pay good money for it. If it is exceptionally large it may be worth more to a taxi for that reason.

It's big but not crazy big. 24" before being skinned. Nose to tail
