Do any of you work with a homeowners insurance? Could you please explain the process.
I know most wont cover animal removal, however I would think they may cover damage.
I am doing some raccoon removal and exclusion on a 3000sq ft home. I was asked to quote the attic resto. The attic is a complete disaster. You know the kind ,Rafter deep feces.
When I draw up an estimate my own stomach sinks.
Thanks for any help.

Depends on the insurance and the company. I deal with insurance companies on a regular basis. Most is water damage or storm damage though. I did have one instance that was racoons and it took a few meetings with the adjuster to get him to cover all the damage. The adjuster job is to settle for as little as possible. I most times have to counter offer to get enough money to do the whole job properly but have found the more reputable companies easier to deal with.

Wish I had more time to trap....
