This issue of The Trapper magazine is dated Jan/Feb/Mar 1957, Volume 4-Number 1. It contains 31 pages and is in nice condition, the low grade paper it was printed on has "browned" a bit due to age. The magazine was published quarterly by the legendary S. Stanley Hawbaker of Fort Loudon, PA. It was published for 5 years from the first quarter of 1954 until the 4th quarter of 1958. Some of the articles in this issue are; The American Beaver by Leon Pray, A Bad Case of Beaver Fever by William Fenzel, Trapping Big Beavers by Ray Beck, To (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) with Trapping by R. It is a complete and clearly illustrated course in fox and coyote trapping. The other item is a catalog of Trapping Supplies from Pete Rickard dated 1967. Rickard was located in Cobleskill, New York, the catalog is in good condition.
