turkn8rtrapper OP trapper T Joined: Feb 2019 Saucier, Mississippi Harrison ...	Ok. Double whammy. I just got 2 dozen beaver extremes from NO BS and some back breaker from FNT. I put out 6 sets this morning. 2 castor mounds and 4 dam breaks. Let the games begin. By the way I would be attracted to back breaker let's see what the beaver do. Strange situation. Beavers are coming out of a branch where they have dams every 50 yards or so then they have cut a 70 or 80 yard trench through an open pasture to go to a guy's fish pond. They aren't cutting anything just going to the pond. He has killed 4 but they keep showing up. I found 1 spot where they had created a pretty good pool and are cutting everything. A lot of fresh cutting. I set it pretty good so we'll see. "Skin that smokewagon and see what happens"

Used too much blocking at new dam break rascal mudded the trap under about a foot. Reset with much less blocking and cleaned area of break out to discourage him doing it again. Also added 2 more snares on fresh castor mounds and put back breaker on them. Other sets answered the puzzle. The ones using the pond. Caught a big boar coon. The swamp is now drained. Answer-the beavers are living in a bank den in the guys pond and traveling into the swamp to cut. reset everything now we wait. Let the coon go. "Skin that smokewagon and see what happens"
