First time ever selling to groenewold today. Gillick fur out of Montreal was at our trappers meet buying. I have to say I’m impressed. I just pulled 5 run of the mill eastern coyotes from my collection and a half dozen coon. Sent the rest to fha since I had a big supply order against this shipment. Raccoons were 5-10$ which I expected but the coyotes kind of shocked me. Sold 3 at $120 each and 2 at $100 each. Those are good prices in my book.

That is decent money for your area coyotes-you guys get big coyotes but the colors are not the greatest-I am happy for you. Yes exactly! We get the big dogs but not many of the nice puffy light ones. The ones I sold today definitely were not my best coyotes. I had 4-5 beauties in the bag that went to fha.

Was at a groney stop tonight. Never saw a coyote go for more then $35.00 and no coon went for more then $8.00. Green skinned and carcass coon were In the $2.00 range. One guy had 47 rats there were 2 piles $4.00 and $3.00 .

Hey Nova, I’m taking mine in tomorrow, the buyer wants to see my fur apparently. I told him I’d give him a shot. Good to here you had a good experience Keep us updated, at this point I think I will be supporting both in the future. A little competition is a good thing.

If gronewald buys fur at the auction house. Then make him compete for it there. If you want true competition

I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

No he wasn't. and LLL wasn't there either. LOL
But one cool thing did come from the stop. I heard a guy talking about that he had shot some collared coyotes. So I got talking to him he showed me some pics. And he said that he had shot them In the study area where I was doing the research. He sold both those coyotes for $30.00 so they ended up being $129.00 coyotes. Who said you can't get paid twice for the same coyotes.

Maybe the Midwestern trappers are subsidizing GWF's little Canadian adventure...? Sort of like the big farmer/farm land owner who bought during the high times a few years back, some of those individual parcels don't pencil out on their own but when added to the larger land "portfolio" of a good amount of the total land owned bought cheap or at a better price, the high priced land gets muted down by the overall average of the land cost. Still has all the land in hand at the end...
