A freind went to check trail Cam. There was a couple plastic planter pots in front of his Cam. Later going through pictures, a coyote carried it up and dropped it there then there. Ther were three coyotes total they played and chewed on it. Then left it.It was way back in the section hard telling how far.he carried it. Anyhow thought it was interesting.

We ran a water line though a section pasture this winter and built a new fence that split it in two also. We laid the fence and water line out with plastic flags. It was surprising how many flags those coyotes chewed up and stole.

Probably stealing someone's pot pots. I've found sheds pretty chewed up by what looks like coyotes.

When I was a young man back in the late 70’s we hunted and fished a big pasture ( 120 acres, big for here ) that was owned by some of my family. Every time we were out there we would pick up odds and ends that we assumed the flood waters had brought in. It could be anything from milk jugs to plastic bags and bottles, we would set them by the catch pen and the owner would haul it away. One day we picked up an old spice bottle that had been chewed on by coyotes and placed it by the catch pen . That bottle disappeared and we would find it weeks or months later in the back of the pasture, we would carry it back to the post by the catch pen and it would disappear again . We thought we had a coyote that really liked that bottle but after several years of this we realized it had to be more than one generation. It became a game to us to see how long it would take to find the bottle.

I haven’t hunted that place for years as it changed hands, but I wonder from time to time if that bottle is still out there.

Fox like to collect "Toys" as well.
