I currently have four 155 Bridgers that I bought used a couple years ago. As mentioned on here, spring eyes are small, the traps are not as easy to set as they should be due to this characteristic. Searching around for another brand it is difficult to tell if all of the makes in the size have the same problem just looking at a picture.
I have also looked on line at the Wolf Creek 552 and same problem, can't tell. I am currently building a couple mink boxes to try out next season when the weather turns cold (I see mink here all the time). Yes I have read through the threads on Trapperman.

Belisle doesn't make a 150-155 size. I'd like to hear from anyone with experience using any of the available brands. I plan on waxing the spring eye areas when I prep traps to make them slide open/closed more easily. Thanks

The Duke 155 is great. I've used it 2 years in a row now on my fisher line. Love it. Great trap. No mods required.

They fit nicely inside newspaper boxes too.

I thought Belisle used to make a 150? Maybe not I guess, but if someone asked I'd of told them I sure think so.

EDIT- I'm not crazy after all... https://www.fntpost.com/Products/Be...r+X+Belisle+Single+Spring+Body+Grip+Trap

Belisle makes a 150. F&T sells 'em.

CTM/RBG makes a great 5x5.

If you can use 5x7s, WCS makes a 5x7 now

Duke 155 and the RBG traps are excellent!

I don't know the # for size but really like the one 6" RBT I have. Its much nicer to set in groundhog holes than square 220's. I have limited experience with them but so far plan on buying RBG's for my body grips.

Added bonus made in the U.S just down the road 5 miles from one of my houses in Indiana. Sizes from 2.5" up. The owner Nick is a great guy. If they will work in your application try a few. I'm glad I did for groundhogs.

Yes, Belisle makes a 150, I'm looking for a double spring trap to help stablilize in the box using two spring slots. Maybe I could slightly modify and use a stakealizer.
I looked at the CMT's. Has anyone used the Wolf Creek 552?
Thanks for the replies.

I just looked at the WCS website, They also make a 5x5 with a kill bar.
With whatever is out there for choices my big concern would be for spring eyes large enough to set the trap without fighting the interference of the spring eyes dragging while compressing the springs.

Those "kill bar" traps are excellent for quick dispatch on skunks

I have some Bridger 155s and I hate them. I have caught coon in them, but they are such pain to set. I've tried setting them by hand and with setters and the eyes are just too small. I'd like to try some WCS 5x5s but I see on the website they're out of stock.

I looked at the WCS website and did not see mention of out of stock. I do like the kill bar design.
Also, I will check out the BMI offering.
I noted above if anyone has used the Wolf Creek 5x5. Yes, no? Pricing is excellent compared to other choices. Listed as out of stock.

I was on the website yesterday and went on again today. It still says out of stock. Click on the trap and read the specifics.

I have a few of the wolfcreek 5x5 and they are a good trap I have used them for raccoons. I don't think they have to small of spring eye because I have never had any trouble setting them. You can just order a few to try out and see if they are what you want but like I said I have not had any problems with mine.

Hey no problem just to let you know I was out tinkering in the shop and out of curiosity I measured the spring eyes on a wolfcreek 5x5 and a rbg 5x5 and the wolfcreek one is slightly bigger hope that helps.
