People may experience: runny nose sore throat cough fever difficulty breathing (severe cases)
If you live in a southern state this is the symptoms of allergies season. So how do you know you got it ?

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness

Sore throat that eventually moves into the lungs. Dry cough High fever. That is not controlled by Tylenol. Difficulty breathing. They say to test it by holding your breath for 10 seconds.

Had those symptoms at the end of January. Influenza test was negative. Doctor never did have an explanation other than I guess the influenza test could be wrong. Most symptoms cleared up with in a week. Cough hung on for a couple weeks. All good now. I think alot have had it and recovered already . It wasnt a crisis a couple months ago before it had a name and a test

I have been fighting all except fever of that since January just started feeling better yesterday actually. And a buddy of mine was in the same boat. Same here. I was in the Bahamas in early February, 3rd day there I got the worst case of chills I’ve ever had. Ran a fever, then a cough. Got through the trip ....still went to the beach and tried to salvage the trip. That was the first week of February, haven’t totally recovered yet. Been trapping beaver and cutting wood, but it’s still hanging on.

Had all those symptoms last January. Everything but runny nose and difficult breathing. Me too. Last week of January/first week of February... I didn't have any nasal congestion or runny nose until the fever and cough were gone... Felt like my head was filled with mush. I didn't have "shortness of breath" but a jog around the block would've been a tough row to hoe. I think a lot of people already had it and kicked it. Mike

Uncontrollable defecation apparently is a symptom-why all the TP is gone.

We've had something around here most of the winter, earlier after the first of the year they let school out because of too many sick kids and teachers. I know at least one person ended up in the hospital from it.
