Nice! Jealous of you in the parts of NY who get to trap later. We had to stop Feb. 15. We get till the 7th, I have to go back to work the 30th...I'll take it. Was caught a little off guard, I'm really not prepared to put it up, but I'll get something figured out. Got lots of land that hasn't seen a trap since the last time I did it...15rs ago, needless to say, beavers are everywhere, and we have been watching a couple otters.

Firsts are the best!!! Thanks for sharing his first! Jim I will never forget the first season I took the boys and let them do most of the set making. Every different animal they caught was a "first" and they were so excited about each success. Mind if I share those pics? And then just this past season I got to see another first in their eyes, when Noah (now a senior in high school) snared his first cat. Yep...that cool grin is still there!

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

MapleHill here is a first for me ha ha my grandmother and your son share a birthday she was born on 8-8-1900 when she turned 88 in 1988 she received a birthday card from President Ronald Reagan . I know more people have to have been born on that day but it brought back many good memories.
jabNE sweet pictures of your boys I wish that I'd of taken the time to take more pictures when my kids were young but I've got grandkids now so I've got more chances in the making !

Nice! Jealous of you in the parts of NY who get to trap later. We had to stop Feb. 15. A good thing about down here in GA is we have open trapping season on yotes and beaver year round. Taking your kids and grandkids trapping, hunting, fishing, etc. is the best thing anyone can do. I take my son with me setting traps and sometimes checking them. He loves it! Kids today are too sucked into electronics. I teach my son how to life off the land. When this Coronavirus hits hard and shuts everything down us country folks know how to survive without grocery stores. Keep up the good work!!!!
