Anyone have any success with tube traps for mink. I started post on trappertalk but think it’s better suited for this forum. I was thinking of utilizing them for ADC work near poultry. Trying to keep chickens out of footholds and conibears

Thoughts?

I've never been big on using killer traps for ADC work from day one. It's probably just me, but customers are always a lot more interested in a live, healthy animal than they are a body! I have had a bunch of mink jobs in the last couple years and that smaller two door Comstock has worked well.

I've only had one mink job. It was killing chickens and ducks in a barn. I stuffed a tube trap between a couple hay bails where the mink was going, and covered with loose hay. Had the bloody chicken killer the next morning, after it had just killed another bird. So, I've had 100% success on mink with a tube.

What is the ideal size hole for a mink tube or box?
