Amazon has a cool documentary on the French buying and transporting 400+ sled dogs from Alaska and Canada to France. They were needed during WW1 because Horses and Mules couldn’t deal with the deep snow and ice. “SLED DOG SOLDIERS “ on prime.

I didn't find it that enjoyable. Recognised some of the Nome area and Howard Farley, which was cool.
